Well all I can say is after purchasing and using one for around five weeks, all I can say is that other than my great investments in the stock
market and the time and effort I put in "investing" in finding a great and loving wife, this one ranks right up there and especially so if you
are older and/or have assorted aches an pains.
There is nothing like having adjustable jets(both with the direction and volume of water)pointed at where you are ailing(for me it
is mostly the lower back where I have quite a bit of arthritis), relaxing for 20 minutes while nice warm weather is literally sprayed all
over your body and/or where you want it directed.
If you are worrying about the cost, well lets just say that you can go from low to high or somewhere in between.
My particular model, while pretty basic, has six jets and does all for I need for it to do.
Counting the cost of the tub, installation, the walls, plumbing and electrical wiring, it cost me a little over 7K.
From personal experience though, I can tell you that if you call some of the folks who both sell and install these things, be prepared
to listen to some sales bullshit where they will try to convince you to not only buy and have installed the Jacuzzi(very expensive ones
which most people don't need) but also a pitch about going a step further and remodeling your entire bathroom.
One of the folks who came to my house to give me an estimate subjected me to a long and boring history of the company and testimonials
for an hour on his tablet device to try to "butter me up" to purchase one that day.
The best and funniest part was when he told me that the normal price for this luxurious Jacuzzi and remodeled bathroom is around 23K.
But he told me that if I signed a contract and purchased one today, that the company was running a "special" and that the company could
do it for a "mere" 20K.
When I told him that it was way more than I wanted to spend on both the Jacuzzi and the bathroom(I told him that I wasn't interested
in renovating my bathroom), he took out his calculator, did some quick math and stated that if I signed the contract today, he could do the job
for the "giveaway" price of slightly over 17K.
I told him thanks but no thanks and that I wanted to check around for something a bit cheaper and which met my needs.
To cut to the chase, after listening to several other people else give me roughly the same pitch as the guy cited, I finally
found a contractor who could do the job I wanted for the price I wanted.
The only bad thing about this was that he was booker up solid for almost two months, and that I would have to wait my turn.
Lets just say that the fact that I would have to wait a significant period of time to get the Jacuzzi installed as opposed to some of those
high priced/ripoff schmucks who could start the job tomorrow, just told me everything I wanted to know and sealed the door.
The wait was well worth it!!
